- Waders, Wading Boots, Gore-Tex Jacket, patch kit for waders (refer to clothing section)
- Food (Backpacking style; Freeze-dried) due to interaction with bears on river
- Aluminum Foil & Seasonings for Baking Salmon
- Sleeping Bag (2-5 pound bag of good quality)
- Camp type pillow
- GPS
- Satellite Phone (this is optional but highly recomended and can be rented for around $75 for the week)
- Firearm or Bear Spray (no firearms on rivers located within National Park boundries) Bear Spray may be rented from outfitter
- Water Purifier
- First Aid Kit
- Fire Starter with water proof matches/lighter
- Toiletry Items
- Bug Spray
- Leatherman / knife and fillet knife
- Polorized Sunglasses
- Maps
- Flashlight with new batteries
- Gallon size Zip Lock Bags. They always come in handy.
- Camera, extra batteries and memory card/film
- Sun Screen
